Erin's WedSafe Wedding Story

When "a bride's worst nightmare came true" two weeks before Erin's wedding day, she wasn't sure where to turn. Here's Erin's story, in her own words.

"I just wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for Ben Ho and your company. I had heard about the WedSafe Insurance when I was planning my wedding and thought it was a great idea. I went ahead and purchased the liability and cancellation policy never intending to use it, but it’s that “just in case” insurance!

Unfortunately last Friday a bride’s worst nightmare came true. I was informed that my wedding venue was shut down by the county and would not be re-opening by our wedding date, August 22nd! We had exactly two weeks to figure out what to do. Right away I put a call into Markel and it was a Saturday. The office hours were closed, but the option to leave a message for an emergency was available. I had someone give me a call back immediately who eased my mind because I was just able to speak with someone. She assured me that an adjustor would give me a call on Monday. Come Monday I received a phone call from Ben Ho who was extremely pleasant and helpful. It was just yesterday that he forwarded me the paper work and the information of what I needed to return to him. First thing this morning I had returned all the documents and paperwork to Ben and within minutes he had sent an email back to me letting me know the checks will be issued and sent off this afternoon.

I am so thankful for the ease of this process in such a stressful situation. Ben made things seem effortless and I truly appreciate the wonderful customer service being in the hospitality industry myself. I can assure you that I will be recommending your insurance company to ALL future brides I know!! Thank you again!"
